PN 12498772
GM Performance Parts' new ZZ383/425 engine packs big-block torque in a small-block package. With 460 lb-ft of torque at 4,500 rpm, the ZZ383/425 engine is GM Performance Parts' most powerful small-block crate engine. With all that torque and 425 hp at an incredibly low 5,400 rpm, the ZZ383 engine is an ideal source of power for any highly modified small-block-powered Corvette.
Recently, we had the opportunity to meet with the brass from GM Performance Parts at the Performance Racing Industry show in Indianapolis. We were pleasantly surprised that most of the components introduced have perfect affinity with your Corvette.

GMPP Bow Tie Sportsman Big-Blocks
PNs 25534362, 25534363, 25534364, and 25534367
If you're looking for big cubes, GM Performance Parts has what you need: a new line of Sportsman Big-Blocks. These blocks are identical to the GMPP CNC big-blocks, except these come with nodular-iron caps and Grade 8 bolts for a more economical price. There are several improved features over other performance blocks, including a fuel-pump boss, clutch bosses, and an oil sender boss. They come out of the box ready to hone to a 4.500-inch bore, and can be bored to a 4.600-inch while still maintaining a 0.300-inch minimum wall thickness. Available in two deck heights, 9.800- and 10.200-inch, they are all machined for stroker clearance. And check this out: The lifter bosses allow production roller cams to be used.
Protect your valuable original big-block casting and enjoy driving your Corvette with this engine block as the cornerstone of your big-block Corvette's power.
