Remove the spade connector from the ALDL port and try to start the car. If it won't start, there isn't enough Minimum Idle Air. Set the Minimum Idle Air so the car will start and idle at around 450 rpm. Once the Minimum Idle Air is set, plug the timing-control connector and the IAC back in. Check the Throttle Position Sensor to be sure it's adjusted properly. It should read between .54 and .60 volt. View Related Article
