14 The over-rearend tubing is next. Bassani designed a uniquerear hanger that helps position the tubing away from suspension piecesutilizing the rear antisway-bar mount.

15 The exhaust-tip system is mounted to the back of theover-rearend tubing in this position. Note the unique rear tip covers.High-quality, 360-degree pressure clamps are used to hold the tubingtight.

16 With the system in position, it's time to go back and tightenall bolts and reposition for final tubing placement. We use a 1/4-inchdrive socket on the header bolts to avoid overtorquing the aluminumcylinder head/header threads.

17 The EGR system bolts to the Bassani headers in the stocklocation.

18 Engine accessories such as the alternator fit in the originalplacements.

19 This tool from Snap-on makes reinstallation of the serpentineaccessory drive belt a snap.

20 Don't forget to reinstall the oil-filler tube and dipstick.
