 With the bracket in place,...  With the bracket in place, we installed the brake-line fittings on thenew caliper. The stainless steel flex lines were easy to install.  (above & right) Now for the...  (above & right) Now for the hardest part: installing the anti-rattle clips. Each caliperrequired three: two on each end and one in the middle.  We placed the Hawk brake pads...  We placed the Hawk brake pads into the caliper-mounting bracket. Thepads should stay in place. Note the position of the brake-thicknesssensor (arrow) that will cry out when the pads need replacement.  With the flex line installed...  With the flex line installed on the backside, the caliper was slippedover the Hawk brake pads, which were supplied in the VBP kit.  The caliper was torqued in...  The caliper was torqued in place with the bolts supplied with thesystem.  Using flare wrenches, the...  Using flare wrenches, the old brake line was removed and the new lineattached. The body clips to attach the line to the body were includedwith the VBP kit.  With the brakes properly bled...  With the brakes properly bled with a pressure bleeder, and with theCorvette Specialist wheels and Sumitomo tires back on, we tested the carto see how much improvement we had. Our new system trimmed 21 feet offour 60-0 distance--a great improvement.
