You will need a special tool to remove or install the P/S pulley. It's easier to install the P/S pump as an assembly with the pulley and bracket than to try to install the pulley later. Apply a light coat of engine oil on the P/S pump shaft to ease pulley installation. P/S pulley installers can be rented from most auto parts stores for a reasonable fee. View Related Article
