The looped 31/48-inch steel tube is an inexpensive but effective P/S fluid cooler. We install the coolers with the upgrade to lengthen seal life in the P/S control valve and ram. If you're using a rack-and-pinion conversion, the cooler will also prevent groaning from the pump. The cooler is installed in-line with the 31/48-inch return hose. View Related Article
