IMPROVEMENTBY GUTTING
The interior is prettymuch gutted. We laiddown the sounddeadeninginsulationunder the carpet andhave prepped theexisting dash framework to be cleaned, sanded, and given afresh coat of paint. We've installed the M&HElectric Fabricator'swiring harnessesthrough the wholecar, and everythingplugged in perfectly.

KNOCH ME OUT Al Knoch Interiors...

KNOCH ME OUT
Al Knoch Interiors supplied us with a complete brand-newinterior (seats, carpet, door panels, and various othertrim), including new dash eyebrows. Corvette Clocks byRoger refurbished the original Vette gauges to make themlook brand-new. This really adds a crisp look to the finishedinterior. Corvette Rubber provided the project with a completeset of their dead-on OE-type door and window weatherstrippingthat also included the inner and outer windowseals (OEM-type bead) and upper channel seals. This weatherstrippingis used on most of the high-dollar restoredCorvettes nationwide because it is the best, hands down.

NOW WE'RE JAMMIN'
Now that our trick new steering column and wheel from FlamingRiver is installed, we needed a wiring adaptor that came withthe steering column to plug into the factory wiring harness. TheCustom Autosound stereo is now in the dash, controlling a hidden10-disc CD changer mounted in the rear jack compartment. We don't need no stinkin' jack with our bitchin' sticky Goodyearsneakers! Note that no modifications were necessary to thefloorpan as the shifter for the Tremec 5-speed fit exactly intothe stock shifter position, surrounded by the Paragon-suppliedfactory shifter boot and retainer.

HEAT SHIELDS UP Eric first...

HEAT SHIELDS UP
Eric first installs the heat shield in the back compartment, and then glues the Al Knoch carpet kit in place.

SOUNDING OFF
With the Al Knoch carpet kit installed, the rear speaker soundbar from Custom Autosound fits right into place, and, combinedwith their custom front and kick panel speakers, provides allranges of sound. The Corvette crossed-flags emblem betweenthe speakers adds a nice touch to the finished product.

DASHINGLY GOODLOOKING Finally,...

DASHINGLY GOODLOOKING
Finally, the dash is now complete withthe Corvette Clocks by Roger clock(quartz conversion) in place, and thebeautiful Trim Parts glovebox doorinstalled. We were able to maintainthe fullsize, factory glovebox compartment, even with the Vintage Airheater/air conditioning in place.

IT'S A GAS Thanks to Trim...

IT'S A GAS
Thanks to Trim Parts and their awesomereproduction '63 gas door (it's thesharpest of the C2 gas doors), the rearexterior body is now complete.

BIG MEATS Boyd Coddington...

BIG MEATS
Boyd Coddington Junk Yard Dog Wheels(supplied through American Racing CustomWheels) shod with the monster GoodyearEagle F1 GS-D3 treads really add a lot ofstreet "cred" to this C2's bad attitude.Red powdercoated calipers from VetteBrakes & Products can easily be seenthrough the wheel spokes. Patty Cooke atVette Brakes had lots of great ideas forthis project, including color accent ideasto add to their latest state-of-the-artsuspension components.

BRINGING UP THE REAR Here...

BRINGING UP THE REAR
Here is a better look at all these parts coming together tocreate one bad ass Vette-Rod. New taillights, parking lights, and license plate assemblies were provided courtesy ofCorvette Central. The proprietary Corvette Restoration AZwide-body kit is very subtle, yet makes a serious performancestatement.

SHAKE IT DOWNFinally, out on the open road, this is one of the first spinsaround the block. What a thrill!

RISING PHOENIX Phoenix Graphics...

RISING PHOENIX
Phoenix Graphics supplied the stencil kit for the hood stinger. It was easier for us to remove the hood and paint the stingerfirst, and then line up the hood and paint the tip with the hoodafter the final adjustments. The hood was on and off the car somany times, this method ensures a perfect alignment. The frontlicense plate bar was provided by Keen Parts.

STING LIKE A BEE The hood...

STING LIKE A BEE
The hood stinger is now complete. Sitting outside the shop, theTimber Wolf C2's sidepipes came rumbling to life thanks toCorvette Central. The next trip will be to an alignment shop.

CRUISE NITES
One of the shakedown cruises tookus to a weekly cruise-in event heldat a local Scottsdale McDonald's inthe Pavilion's. The Timber WolfCorvette created quite a stir, andthere was always a crowd gatheredaround it.

LAST MINUTE CHANGE The engine...

LAST MINUTE CHANGE
The engine bay is now complete thanks to K&N Engineeringthat provided one of their billet/carbon-fiber air cleanerassemblies that complements the car's styling. Our originalobjective was to use an L-88-style air cleaner andbaffle assembly supplied by Paragon and Keen Parts, but, unfortunately, we had to change our plans due to severalfitment issues. Lonestar Caliper's brake proportioningvalve is helping provide an awesome brake system.

FINAL DETAIL Breck and Fuzzy...

FINAL DETAIL
Breck and Fuzzy put the final buff on the now fully cured PPGUrethane 2 stage paint supplied by Lenny and the boys at ScottsdalePaint. We have already received several inquiries about our specialmixture of Arrest Me Red.
