The final step is to connect the black ground wire from the PriorityStart to the connector tab on the negative terminal of the battery. As soon as you do this, you'll hear gears and other mechanical noises coming from the PriorityStart module-this is normal and indicates the module is working properly. The LED indicator light will turn from red to green when the module is operational. Slip the rubber insulator boot over the positive terminal clamp and close the hood.
