It's nearly impossible to photograph this area with the bell housing in the car, but these two threaded holes receive the two bolts that hold the clutch linkage Z-bar to the side of the bell housing. There may be a little tension on the Z-bar generated by the clutch over-center spring, but it's not too strong, and can easily be overcome during reassembly with the helping hand(s) of a friend. View Related Article
