A coat of POR 15 will keep the retainers from rusting, and provide a little help keeping the studs tight in the upper retainer. Two cautions: (1) make sure the POR 15 doesn't get on the threads-it's like cement, and (2) wear gloves or you'll be sporting POR 15 spots for days. View Related Article
