Remove the hold-down bracket. On a C3, a 1/2-inch socket on a long extension works best. If the bolt does not turn easily, slide underneath and apply penetrating oil to the exposed threads. Rusted parts can be protected with POR15, but don't allow it to get on any threads. View Related Article
