On The Cover: This month, we're celebrating the 40th Anniversary of the big-block engine. Over the last 40 years, the big-block and its rich heritage have reached almost god-like status among Corvette enthusiasts. We have filled this issue with plenty of information on one of Chevrolet's best. This month's cover shot is the dynamic duo of Art Strietbeck and Jim Condon of Keyser, West Virginia. Their Story of neighborly competition and friendship is inspiring because they helped one another build two of the nicest ZL1 clone cars we've ever seen. We also continue with our CF exclusive, the building of the first 2006 Z06. This time, we follow the drivetrain down the line on its way to being married to the body. Cover Photo by Jerry Heasley.
