On The Cover : This month,...
On The Cover: This month, we celebrate the incredible L88 Corvette. These Corvettes were the epitome of bad-to-the-bone Vettes in theirpurest factory form. Only 216 of these cars were built, but we have beenable to harness four of these rare ground-pounding Corvettes for thisissue. We feature the famous Tony DeLorenzo '67 L88 that was extensivelyraced in SCCA competition. We also showcase Harold Metz's '69 L88Survivor that seems to defy Father Time at every turn. Earlier this yearat the NCRS Florida Regional Meet, we shot Kevin Mackay's see-through'69 L88 just so we could detail the special parts that make up an L88.On the cover, we present Carl and Kathy Hatcher's time-defying,fully-documented '68 L88 coupe. Enjoy the ride!
