Last year Chevrolet and other shows recognized the 50th Anniversary of Corvette during the month of June. Bloomington Gold was no exception, as we designated a special viewing area for the birth car of our beloved Corvette.
In 2004, we'll celebrate the 50th Anniversary (or GoldYear) of the 1954 Corvette. Just as in 1988 when we hosted Earthquake 88, all 1954 Corvettes (in any condition) will be welcomed as our complimentary guests. They will be in our feature location on our GoldField and serve as the grand marshals leading the GoldTour. They will sit side by side with brand new 2004s of every color to illustrate the 50-year contrast in technology.
If you're thinking of Polo White for the 1954, then don't be surprised to see Black, Pennant Blue and Sportsman Red as Chevrolet expanded the color options for 1954-just one of many changes you won't want to miss in this historic display.
If you own a 1954 Corvette, we will expect to see you, as our guest, at Bloomington Gold this June. If you're the proud owner of a 1955, '56, '57, etc. Corvette, expect to receive a complimentary invitation during your respective GoldYear anniversary.
